Yesterday, BBJ and I had a little friend over so his mom could run some errands. He was the sweetest, most patient little boy! He sat and calmly played with toys until BBJ took them from him. He picked up another toy and played with that, until BBJ took it from him. She put down the first toy. He picked up the toy he was originally playing with.
He's either brilliant or just, truly, that patient!
He and BBJ followed each other around the room, finding new things to play with. Books on the shelf? BBJ never noticed them before. Hat boxes under the piano, blocking a small speaker wired to the wall? Look at that! Our little friend figured out how to open it and they both enjoyed the bounty - the box was full of smelly little votive candles. Delicious!
All in all they really had a good time. Her little friend brought over a toy walker, but accidentally left it here. This morning, we decided to give BBJ a go at it. That was entertainment. Enjoy.
