Ok, so for anonymity's sake, I'm not going to list any full names here. HOWEVER, I just went to a really cool site . You can type in your first and last name and it will tell you how many people in the United States share your first name, last name or both. As it turns out, there are 119,418 people who share my first name, 526,043 who share my maiden name, and 208 people who have my entire maiden name, put together. However, when I redo the search with my married name, 12,153 people share my new last name and a mere 5 share my new (married) name.
That is nothing compared to my husband. 3,715,558 people share his first name. 149 people share his full name.
Then we come to my beautiful daughter. We made her name up. We thought we were being very original. Since we chose her name, we have discovered that she was named after a cartoon character from a popular Japanese comic and two people have told me they have best friends with the same name. We thought we were so creative!
Turns out we were right. There are no people, in the entire country, who share my daughter's name.
Which makes me wonder....there should have been at least one! She's sleeping down the hall!
At least we're original, though.
Apparently, there are zero people in the U.S. with my first name, 166,280 with my last name, and -- naturally -- zero with the combination.
ReplyDeleteExcept what about me?
BBJ and I will have to team up in our nonexistence and take over the world!
