We had our playdate this week, with a fun Halloween twist. I asked all of the mommies to bring their costumes for their bambini's...and it was absolutely, over-the-moon, cute!
(Hello, Miss Stephanie! You make a fabulous poodle.)
(And Master Russell, you are an adorable pumpkin.)
This picture...
(L-R - Max (mancub. ha!), Justin (bat), BBJ (dragon), Mason (bat), Stephanie (poodle), Russell (jack'0'lantern)...was inspired by this picture.
That was a babyshower in October, '06. BBJ is the one in pink. Max is in there, but I can't positively ID him. Is Max's mama in the house? A little help?I think he's the big guy on the far right.)Comparing this pictures made me want to compare some other pictures.
This is BBJ last Halloween.
She was funny looking.
She slept on her stomach, supervised and looked like an Anne Geddes chipmunk.
She used to be really small.
Now she's big. And standing by herself. And doesn't sleep 20 hours a day.My big girl is growing up!
It's been a busy week. Tuesday was completely given over to getting ready for a service project that went down at my house that night. I handmade 100 Christmas cards and purchased a few yards of red felt. That night, we made a really good dent on signing the Christmas cards and cutting and sewing 60 stockings. (We still need 40 more, if anybody is interested in helping out!) These will all be sent to a Barn, where the stockings will be stuffed and the cards will be posted, and approximately 1,000 of our brave soldiers over in Iraq will have a little cozier of a Christmas than they would have had otherwise!
Have a happy and safe Halloween, everyone. And for goodness' sake, go find a baby to schnuggle.
And don't forget to dance.
Hey, you're going to need a couple more stockings- we're sending them to 7,500 troops, not 1,000! (grin)
