More Genius

I'll keep this short - it's Thursday-Grandma-Day, so I don't have long before we make the trek over, under, around and through to Grandma's house. She needs her weekly dose of great-grandkids, donchaknow!

So, I'll just leave you with this:

We had THE MOST MARVELOUS playdate EVER!!!!! yesterday morning. One of BBJ's friends from her normal playdate came over while his mommy was in meetings.



I have never, ever, ever had such an easy time watching BBJ while she was awake. She just followed that boy around. He's a few months older than her, so he knows all the cool games. Open the boxes BBJ has never noticed. (shoot!) Climb over the couch into the little space where Mommy hides all the stuff BBJ can't have. (oh no!!) Play peek-a-boo through the stair railings (oh well, I guess that's ok.)

We had such a fantastic time. If anybody else has a calm little one year old that would like to come over and entertain my baby for a few hours while we chat or just get the dishes done, LET ME KNOW! I think I may have discovered an entirely new phase to my little baby's life...and I plan on setting up playdates every day of the week!!! (It's cheaper than taking her out shopping...that's our other option. A quick trip to any store will keep her happy in the morning, too.)

Afterwards, BBJ gave me a concert on the piano. I think little Russell got her creative juices flowing!
