Princess BBJ

Princess BBJ, you may recall, last left us on quite a happy note. Her legs were no longer cold, her minionless void was filled with..you know...minions. All that remained to plague her was her insurmountable cuteness.

To while away the hours, pondering this dilemma, the princess required entertainment. The entertainment could neither be too common, nor too daring. Something that had been tried before, but never by any of her friends.

Enter, my friends, our patroness and heroine, The Queen. The queen, as you well know, has busied herself with many a crafty endeavor these past few days. Among her numerous and beautiful projects as one which particularly interested the princess. Her mother wove a magical ball into a beautiful tapestry, using only two magic wands. The magic wands were waved and clicked and moved in such a way as could only entrance and delight the young princess. She must have a magic ball of her own. She adored the way the ball would dance with delight as it was transformed into this wondrous tapestry. She decided that she must have a ball of her own, or all was lost. There could be no substitute.

As luck would have hit, her mother had a spare, hidden away in a secret room, which she had almost forgotten about. The spare ball was produced, and the princess was in raptures of delight. Her very own ball to bounce!

To bat!

To bite!

As any discerning reader may have already noticed, the princess, in her rapture, became a kitty cat. I'm sure she'll return to us soon. You must see, however, that this completely satisfies her demands - it entertains her, and NONE of her friends have turned into kitty cats lately!

  1. I have a cousin who decided, when she was three, that she was a cat; and she remained a cat (a green Siamese cat, of all things) for the next two years.

Now, she's 11, and quite human -- but with dreams of becoming a vet at a clinic that only takes care of cats.
