Have I mentioned how much I adore my little man? He's just the bittiest chunk. There's a little girl at church (who was NOT a small newborn) who is now 7 months old.
She and Siu Jeun are the same. size. (Siu Jeun is three months old.)
Both of them are in size 3 diapers, wearing 6 month clothes, and nearly 17 lbs.
Can I get an oof!
(He's recently mastered the Eating of the Hands. Today, he upped the ante by shoving both fists in his mouth at once. I could tell he was hungry on the way home from church by the desperate sounding schlorp schlorp coming from the back seat as he sucked his way from one fist, to the other, and back again. Poor kid- I mean you can tell I'm starving him.)
My middle one was like that. Just a chunk. That is the only way to describe them!

ReplyDeleteHaha, you should see how tiny Emma is. She's 16 months old and weighed 17 lbs 9 oz at her 15 month appointment! She wears size 3 diapers and still wears 6 month onesies! She didn't hit 10 lbs till she was 5 months old. Yeah, she's not even on the charts...she was 2% for weight for a long while, but then had diarrhea for a week...

ReplyDeleteWe call Ana our chunka-munk. She weighed in at 20lbs 7oz at about 8 months. We'll be going in for her 9 month appt. on 4/15 and I can't wait to see what she weighs now.
ReplyDeleteMy niece turned 1 at the end of December. She was 1 and Ana was 6 months and they both weighed about 17 pounds.
