Our Day

Today was a quiet day spent at home, listening to the words of our prophets through the marvel of the internet. We had our choice of over 20 different languages, but chose to listen to English.

While I listened, I kept my hands busy...

(RicRac dahlias)

During the second session of our General Conference, I tried my hand at a quieter, gentler way of making bread.
We mixed up two loaves, entirely by hand. For our french bread, I might switch to this method on a regular basis. Without the noise of the mixer, I can make bread any time I like...even if Siu Jeun is napping! Which is good, because we go through four loaves of it a week.

As I said, we were listening to General Conference for four hours today, in two 2-hour sessions. I learned a lot, and was inspired. I want to be my best, to do my best, to live my best. I want to be Me...but More, as well.
After our crazy storms the past few weeks, we have been enjoying some lovely warm weather. I've been taking advantage of it by shuffling the kids outside when it's time for lunch. Siu Jeun generally dumps his food on the table and flings it around when he's done eating, but at least I don't have to mop it up!
