PhotoOp: First Packed Lunch!
Not exactly stop-the-presses type news, but Ming Wai had her first "field trip" today, and I packed her up a little lunch to take along: PB and sprinkles (yes, really) on homemade french bread, butternut squash cake, and cut strawberries.
(She went with her fellow Joy School-mates out to a farm in New York state. Ming Wai informs me that there were horses, chickens, "small birds with ladies", and a complete and utter lack of elephants. And sheep.)

Sprinkles are like bandaids - miracle workers! :)
ReplyDeleteOh, the tragedy of no elephants when one is PARTICULARLY fond of elephants.
ReplyDeleteahem.
cute lunch :)
Peanut butter with sprinkles! That's awesome.
ReplyDeleteDid she finish all? :)
ReplyDeleteJosh would finish all only if he gets tortellini with pesto sauce. So that used to be his packed lunch every week for 3 months when he would have lunch in school... :)
Utterly adorable! And it kinda reminds me of the Tongginator's Complete And Utter Disillusionment when she discovered the total lack of dinosaurs at the zoo.
ReplyDeleteSimply appetizing...That's great! I hope she had a very wonderful field trip. Oh by the way, you might be interested to try a stainless steel container. This stainless steel tiffin container that I'm referring to is stylish, durable, safe, and eco-friendly. Good for beach picnic, camping, kitchen ware and work use. You'll be very amazed, how great it is because it does not hold stains and odors, and it has an easy re-pack and stack. Can store liquors, juices, soups, and curry without a worry.
