Finally caught a great smile on camera!
One of Baby Ying Ying's favorite tricks is to lay on her back, grab both of her feet, and rock side to side. We call her The Big Fat Panda. (Name that movie!) (Hint - I love Kung Fuuuuuu!)
Baby Ying Ying is 19.6 pounds, can roll back to front (but hates to be on her tummy, so she has learned not to do that trick too often), and will grab anything and everything (or knock it out of your hands trying). We had our first casualty yesterday - a Hello Kitty headband. It was Ming Wai's favorite, but she gave it to the baby to play with, and it was quickly snapped in half when Ming Wai wasn't looking. She doesn't know yet. *sigh*
Baby Ying Ying loves anything red, drools and pants after food, and spits out or gags on anything you put in her mouth. She thinks cups are especially arresting - she licks the outside of my water bottles when I can't keep it out of her reach. She has the biggest, most ridiculous, most yummiest thighs EVAH. True story.
Night times are kind of unpredictable right now. She eats every three and a half to four and a half hours during the day. She goes to sleep at whatever feeding falls after dinner, usually at 7:30 or 8:30. She will wake up to eat between 1:30-3:30, and then wake up again between, 5:30and 6:30. I'm tired, but this too shall pass.
That's us at 5 months!
My favorite darling dumpling :)
