American Idol, Your Top 12!

SPOILER ALERT- Seriously, y'all. I'm about to tell you who got through to the top 12. If you don't want to know, click away now! Don't say I didn't warn you. 

Alright...I don't usually blog the results show, but I'd like to keep track here! (Our family plays a game every year, scoring points for correctly guessing who will be going home. Lo Gung is the Master of the Spreadsheet with everybody's scores...and hasn't even had a chance to watch Idol with me this week. To make it easier for him, I decided to collect all the results right here in one handy list. You're welcome, honey1 *mwah*)

And...in order of announcing, here is your Top 12:
1. DiDi Benami (Yea!)
2. Siobhan Magnus (Not really surprised, but I hope she can make herself as accessible as possible so she can stick around!)
3. Paige Miles (Girl...you got to get it together. You have an AMAZING instrument, but you're not using it right yet.)
4. Casey James (Again, not too surprised. )
5. Tim Urban (He'll stick around as long as there are more Under 18's watching than Over 20's.)
6. Lee Dewyze (Totally not surprised...but a little relieved, after last night's odd performance.)


(Insert a GREAT duet with Scott MacIntyre and Matt Girard. Great to see their faces back here! Now...six spots left, eight anxious kids. Here we go!)


7. Krystal Bowersox (Yea!! A house favorite.)
8. Michael Lynch (Big Mike!!! I know I was rooting for him. I can't imagine missing the birth of your child and NOT being good enough to make it this far. Go you!)
9. Lacey Brown
10. Aaron Kelly (Didn't see that one coming!)
And...we're down to our last two boys. Alex and Andrew. Who will it be? Alex has shown AMAZING growth..and Andrew might have shown us his best trick too soon.
11. Andrew Garcia (Hrm...I'm really not doing well on my picks this week!)
And now...Katie and Lily.  Katie, if you're reading this, I adore your outfit. Those ruffles are perfect, and your hair looks much 'hipper' than before! And the final seat goes to.....
12. Katie Stevens. (Oh. My. Goodness. Girl, you'd better bring up your game. I hate to rip on a girl from my own state, but...man. Lily's going home. I know it's not your fault, but PLEASE. For me? Sing really great, m'kay? Step it up.)

Out:
1. Katelyn Epperly (Oh no!! That's so sad. I really wanted her to go through.)
2. Todrick Hall (Not super surprised...even though he did pull it out last night.)
3. Alex Lambert (I really hoped he could pull in some votes after his great performance last night.)
4. Lily Scott (I can only blame the song choice. This is a sad, sad night. I'll miss her starlight hair.)

I don't think I've EVER scored a "0" before. *sigh* Maybe, next time, I should listen to what the judges had to say instead of zooming past it? Heh. They seem to have a better handle on what "America" is looking for! My Mother in Law is probably beating me now... *facepalm*
