Just popping in to wish everyone a very, very merry Christmas.
Our festivities are in full swing. Lo Gung has been off work since Monday, and doesn’t need to go back until January. (Read: He worked last Saturday, and went into work on Monday, and has spent at least four hours a day working from home. See? Isn’t that how PTO always works?)
We are enjoying our time with Daddy immensely! So far we’ve had lunch dates at our favorite old haunts (helloooooo pho and bubble tea!) and spent a good half-day at the outlets up north in Marysville and he and I have stayed up way too late every night watching movies.
Tonight is our annual caroling shin-dig. It started in high school as a way for my fellow Jazz Choir-ians and I to keep the music going past the last day of school. It’s changed quite a bit by now…most notably, we’ve added quite a few kidlets to the mix.
Tomorrow is Christmas Eve, complete with a big multi-family gathering at my sister’s house. Christmas Day will be a riot of ripping paper, un-stuffed stockings and meeting up with family in the afternoon to exchange gifts.
I wish everyone a merry Christmas. May it be peaceful and joyful and your best Christmas this year!
Heh.
Merry Christmas to you and yours!
