We had a week of rather odd weather. It was sunny in the mornings, and the afternoons had violent mood swings. If it was sunny, it was almost guaranteed that there would be clouds five minutes later, followed by hail two minutes after that.
The funny thing about hail is…it’s not cold. You don’t even get wet! The little balls bounce right off you before they can melt, so as long as you have the correct protective gear (heh) you are good to go. I snapped these pictures while my off-spring were out cavorting in the hail.
For my kids, “proper protection” means sand buckets. On their heads. Works for me!
We had the hail this afternoon- Sunshine was fascinated, our pig hid in the closet. Next time I'll have to break out the bucket-hats!
