Ying Ying has developed a fondness for her big sister. I think the feeling is mutual. Ming Wai takes her responsibilities very seriously, often abandoning meals or homework or chores to rush to her sister's side when she starts to fuss. It just reminds me what I should have already firmly planted in my brain - bringing a baby home isn't Bringing My Baby Home. Once I gave birth to Baby, she became His Daughter, and Her Sister, and His Sister, and Her Niece, and Their Granddaughter, and a million other things.
Here's hoping these two can always remain friends!
