Playdate and her First Word in Chinese!

BBJ had a playdate today. So much fun! We had the twins, Russel AND Miss Stephanie, with their respective adult counterparts. I love having all those babies crawling over the floor, over each other, over me....it was just crawling with babies!

I love this kid's mug! He's one of the twins.

Here's BBJ and Russell - they were giving the kitchen their best joint-effort. Keep going, kids - I still see plastic on those shelves!

Everyone stayed a few hours, we enjoyed some MIGHTY fine banana muffins, apples with Parmesan cheese, grilled ham and cheese, and chocolate chip cookies. Who says Mama's don't eat right! We just need an audience!


So, Saturday night, Daddy was doing a funny dance while BBJ ate her bananas. I hadn't seen her laugh that hard in quite a while, so I whipped out the camera and caught the moment for posterity!



And finally, the moment we've all been waiting for - BBJ's first word in Chinese! Last night, Louh Gung asked BBJ if she wanted a bottle of milk. When he did, BBJ repeated back the word for milk in this cute, high-pitched, kitten-soft voice. It was so perfect! Listen for "nai nai". She gets it out eventually!
