A Day in the Life

Hey, girl - I hope we put those tonsils to good use someday!
Cousin E, you are truly an awesome sight. Please don't bake me!
Yes, BBJ - your day was exhausting. Take a rest now!

This is a test of a new posting method - if this works out, I can post from anywhere with e-mail so nobody misses out on BBJ's happenings if I can't get to my own computer.

It was an interesting day. BBJ was pretty good, but tonight was when she really shone. We had some friends over for dinner and BBJ LOVES to be the center of attention. They were on the floor with her, they were playing all of her games with her, they were wrestling with her - BBJ was in absolute heaven!

She went to sleep a very tired and happy girl.

I'll apologize if this post is a bit...scanty. I've been reading other posts and I'm kind of leery of sharing information just now. How do you keep yourself anonymous on a worldwide internet, and how scared should I be of strange people picking up BBJ's picture and using it for things I don't authorize?

  1. That's really a tough issue to deal with, and a tough line to walk. On the one hand, having a blog is essentially publishing -- you're intentionally putting the information out there; on the other, given all the creeps out there, you want to keep the information at a level such that someone can't find you.

I've decided to be onymous on the WWW (at least, on my blog) because so much of it is opinion, and I feel strongly about not saying anything I wouldn't put my name to. You're clearly in a different circumstance, blogging not about war or politics but something so very much more precious.

  2. That's true. One of the things I hadn't thought about before, besides people finding us, was people stealing BBJ's face and putting it in pictures that she's not in, pictures that are unsavory.
