Now, you may be asking yourself….what’s a LoLo? (And if you are…well, hi. Welcome to LoLo Life. I’m a LoLo. You, most likely, are not. Unless you are. In that case…ok. Never mind. You’re just probably not, ok? You’d have to marry one of us, and you’d know if you’d done that.) Now, you’re wondering, where exactly is LoLo Land?
LoLo Land…is what happens when a bunch of LoLo’s get together and call it a vacation. This summer, LoLo Land was in my living room, among other places. It can, at times, cross international boundaries! Say, for example…up to Richmond, B.C. (Yum…..)
Lo Gung’s father, sister and niece were able to sneak away from their respective Others and visit with us for a week in August. And very welcome they were! It’s always very relaxing to have Lo Gung’s family around. There are Group Naps…
…and some Sneaking Around.
There are Mamas resting on the couch while all the babies take real naps. (Our niece, and our son are only about two months apart in age. It was so nice to get the two rascals together!!)
And we were also able to celebrate Lo Gung’s (thirty! third!) birthday shortly after the LoLo’s arrived.
(We were also able to get our big group off to a Hot Pot place here in town…and it was FABULOUS. Because it’s not a LoLo-cation if there isn’t a bunch of yummy food involved. It’s what we LIVE for. If you are a fan of the Hot Pot, and you’re a local, get thee to Szechuan Chef in the old K-Mart parking lot. So tasty!)
Still to come….road tripping, make-overs and Communal Cousin Bath Time! Awesome stuff, folks. You don’t want to miss this.
We have done that Hot Pot before and yes, it was pretty good. I still prefer Hot Pot at home though.
